The South course is the original of the two at El Rompido and opened in 2003. Spectacular Atlantic views are on offer from this easy walking marshland and parkland course which offers an unforgettable round for golfers of all levels. The first nine holes require real precision and caution, while the back nine offer more space allowing for more risks to be taken
The newer El Rompido North course opened in June 2006 and is quickly becoming an even better course than the original one. The course will take you through the salt marshes where you will encounter privileged views out to the atlantic. The North course is both longer and wider than the South course and the back nine are particularly tricky with well guarded greens.
Located within a nature reserve, it is no surprise that Isla Canela is surrounded by stunning scenery. This course is well established and popular. It has been built into relatively flat terrain and sloping dunes making it ideal for those who like an easy walk. This 18 hole links style course is kept in first class condition with good fairways and excellent, well protected greens. At first glance it appears straightforward but the greens are fast and the breezes from the sea can bring a different game every day.
Costa Esuri West - A welcome new course close to the River Guardiana. Golfers are already rating this course highly with comments on the great layout and the quality of the greens. This is a course which favours those that thrive in windy conditions and also long hitters.
Costa Esuri East - A challenging, yet fair new course with elevated and fast greens, lovely shaped holes, some glorious shots and wonderful views across to the river.
Overlooking the River Guadiana on the Portuguese side of the border with Spain, Castro Marim is set in rolling hills with wonderful mountain, river and sea views and offers golfers of all handicaps a real challenge. Well worth playing and we get great feedback. Watch out for tight greens, narrow fairways and plenty of water!
Between Faro and the Spanish border, close to the delightful fishing village of Tavira, Benamor winds its way through ancient olive groves with excellent views of the sea and the mountains. The first 5 holes are fairly short, which lulls you into a feeling of ease, but then some challenging par 3's and par 5's provide a true test.
Islantilla is a 27 hole course that has built up an excellent reputation. It is a parkland course that has been host to a number of major competitions over the years including the PGA European Challenge Tour. Lush vegetation will surround you during your round as the course is situated within a pine tree forest. Designed by Enrique Canales, the 27 holes give players the opportunity to play three different 18 hole combinations. There are a variety of holes featuring fast greens, narrow tree-lined fairways and tricky over-water shots. Islantilla will appeal to all levels of golfer.
