Golf Holidays Turkey
Turkey is a land of glittering seas, long sandy beaches, dramatic coastlines, mountain ranges, cultural and historical architecture and very friendly people. What you didn’t know, is that the golf holidays in Turkey, can be considered as some of the best in the world. The climate in the south is very much like that on the Costa del Sol and the early autumn through to the late spring is just perfect for taking a golfing holiday in Turkey.
The majority of the golfing holidays in Turkey are exclusive to the Belek area which is in the middle of Turkey’s southern coast on the Mediterranean just 30 minutes from Antalya Airport. Belek is a purpose built golf resort built on a flat coastal plain scattered with pine forests. The grey Toros mountains provide a magnificent backdrop to the emerald green golf courses which are kept in immaculate condition.
The 5*
golf resorts in Turkey are all very self-contained with private beaches and a wide range of sporting activities and entertainment programmes. The
hotels we have selected all have links with the golf courses and are either half-board or all-inclusive so there is no need to leave the hotel on your holiday except to play golf!
When you go on a golfing holiday in Turkey with us at Premier Golf Holidays, you are guaranteed top quality golf courses and equipment, beautiful beaches and a relaxing atmosphere. Being avid golfers ourselves, we carefully handpick our hotels with our customers in mind because we know what it takes to make the perfect golf break in Turkey.
However, it would be a shame to travel all the way to one of our golf resorts in Turkey and not see some of the surrounding areas. Take a taxi or the local Dolmus (mini-bus) into the villages of Belek and Kadriye. They are both worth a visit for their shops, bars and cafes and Kadriye’s side streets have a good selection of restaurants. Take a tour further afield (arranged through our agent) and visit Antalya, a very cultural city with a fascinating old quarter whose ancient walls partially enclose a very picturesque harbour. The ruins at Perge and Aspendos are well worth a visit or take a tour into the Toros mountains to enjoy the waterfalls and the National Park.
