Tecina Resort located in Playa de Santiago in the South of the Island of La Gomera, a 40 minute ferry crossing from Los Critianos in Tenerife. Situated on the Lomada de Tecina, overlooking the blue of the Atlantic Ocean, Hotel Jardin Tecina affords spectacular views of Mount Teide and the Tenerife Coastline.

La Gomera is reached by a 40 minute crossing on the Fred Olsen Express fast ferry from the Port of Los Cristianos in Tenerife to the Port in San Sebastian, La Gomera. The Hotel Jardin Tecina is a 45 minute drive from San Sebastian with spectacular scenery and views en-route. There is also a small airport in La Gomera, located 10 minutes from Hotel Jardin Tecina with domestic flight connections from/to Tenerife North and Gran Canaria.

Built in 1987, and set in 70,000 square metres of extraordinary vegetation, with more than 50 species of plants from all over the globe, the Hotel Jardin Tecina is built on a hillside, designed in true Canarian Style and surrounded by paths bordered with beautiful gardens and surrounded by colourful flora and fauna.

The 434 rooms and suites are made up of traditional style bungalows, situated on 2 levels in small clusters around the resort each with a ‘signposted street’ leading to it. Five types of accommodation, from standard room with garden view, comfort room with side see view, superior room with front see view, junior suite with a separate sitting area, all of them with terrace or balcony, to the family duplex room, make up this fantastic resort.

All rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone, satellite TV and pay TV (payable locally), air conditioning, mini bar, safe and well-equipped bathrooms. There are five top quality restaurants at the Hotel Jardin Tecina. They also offer a 5 star cuisine at the A-la-Carte restaurant, decorated with the Châine des Rotessieur medal and the
Eurotoques medal. There are 5 pools; 3 freshwater, 1 children’s pools, 1 salt-water pool at Club Laurel. Pool
towels, umbrellas and sunloungers are free. A daily entertainment programme offers a wide variety of amusements and regular evening shows.

Tecina Golf course, only five minutes walk from the hotel, was designed by Donald Steel, who was also responsible for St. Andrews New course and Arran course at Turnberry among many others. Tecina Golf is an 18 holes par 71 course which measures 6,250 meters from the white tees. Tecina Golf is a perfect combination of factors - superb design, unrepeatable landscape and a championship course. There are no buildings of any kind on the course which ensures that the golfers have uninterrupted views of the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean from any point on the course.
