Montgomery Golf at Kinross

Various design changes to the course were made in 2006 with the aim of establishing The Mongomery as the Senior of the two courses (the second course being the Bruce Course).

 

By almost universal agreement, the 19 new bunkers, 4 new white tees and the new pond, introduced last season, have enhanced what was already an excellent layout and it is now a test of golf that makes you think before every shot and where you walk off the 18th green having been afforded the opportunity of playing every club in your bag.

 

The courses at Kinross golf are considered by many to be two of Scotland’s hidden golfing gems

 

 

So confident are the management that The Montgomery’s revised layout provides a great test of golf that they are throwing down the following challenge:

 

Break 80 (gross) on The Montgomery and they will give you your next round at Kinross free of charge!

 

If you manage it, and your usual club handicap is 10 or greater, they will extend the complimentary ticket to include a friend!

 

There is a restriction for individual golfers to only be able to claim this prize twice in any calendar year but the gauntlet is down! It is not as easy as it sounds and so far the club is not exactly being stampeded by winners.
