Salobre Golf South / OLD

 

One of the newest golf courses in Gran Canaria, Salobre Golf was recently inaugurated and is a distinctive course surrounded by a volcanic landscape. Situated in a typical Gran Canaria landscape with ravines, volcanic earth and views of mountains and the sea.  In contrast to the desert surroundings, the lush green gardens of the course offer a stunning picture.

 

This demanding course will really test your skills and have you reaching for every club in the bag.  The natural features of the landscape and the vegetation have played an important part of the layout, with more than 600 species of plants and trees established to give the area beauty.  Almost desert-like in places with a very high tee on the fourteenth and the green being surrounded by mountains, rough stones and a cactus landscape
