Built in the 20’s by the Pasha of Marrakech the Royal Club is one of the longest established in Morocco and is now one of His Majesty King Hassan II’s favourite courses!
Resting at the foot of the snow covered Atlas Mountains, amongst many cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees. This course is very beautiful but don’t let that put you off your game, the 15th green is hidden behind two grassy mounds separated only by a bunker!
You won’t have to face the course alone though, a caddy is compulsory at this club, even if you choose to hire a buggy, so make the most of their knowledge. A driving range and putting green are available for use and clubs can be hired and paid for locally.
Many famous men have played this world famous course including Winston Chrurchill and Ike Eisenhower, why not have a go at beating their score??
- Caddies obligatory on this course (local pay approx 100dhs/£8.00)
